Liu Yuxin is also a versatile dancer in ballet, classical Chinese dance, folk dance, jazz and hip-hop; she was the top four participants of the Strictly Come Dancing 舞动奇迹 TV dancing competition in 2011.
In December 4, 2011, Liu Yuxin attended a Beauty Festival event in Beijing in a stunning gown, but all the eyes were drawn to her prominently displayed chest. Liu Yuxin quoted at the event saying, "When you're young and can flaunt it, then you should flaunt it. When you're old you can't flaunt it, even when you want to."
Though Liu Yuxin successfully became the focus of the spotlight at the event, she received lots of negative comments from the public later. She responded that the dress was a bit too small on her and she didn't get to fit on it before the event.
