However, this newly bonded love couldn't last either. Andrew's mother, Sharon Kwok was totally against and pressured their relationship even from the start. It probably has to do with Mia's complicated past.
There were rumors that Mia's ex-husband was actually a plastic surgery doctor and Mia was previously known as Boey Chan. No surprise and that was probably how Mia gotten her Eurasian look even though she denied it completely. Mia claimed that she only had some botox injections and dental braces.
